Join us next Wednesday, July 7th as we welcome special guest DJs Adrian Younge (Black Dynamite Sound Orchestra, Wax Poetics Records) & Phers-1 (DP Sound, Bridges, LA)! We will be spinning 60s & 70s soundtracks, library, funk, soul, and lots of groovy sounds from Italian & French lost archives! Don't miss this one!

DJ Adrian Younge: Adrian 'AJ' Younge was both a composer and an editor on the 2009 Sundance Film Festival blaxploitation spoof “Black Dynamite.” Younge created the original score by using instruments and analog recording equipment from the 70s.

DJ Phers1: One of the founding members of DP SOUND/BRIDGES CREW best know for their events BRIDGES & IRATION. Phers1 believes the DJ's main duty is to make sure the dancefloor is constantly moving. To accomplish this task he draws on virtually every genre be it hip hop, dancehall, roots reggae,soul, broken beat, bmore, baile funk, gettotech, crunk, hyphy, soulful house, dnb- you get the picture.

On Wednesday, April 7th, we will be screening "All'onorevole Piacciono Le Donne" (Italy, 1972) & "I Am Curious" (Sweden, 1968). I will also be handing out copies of my latest mix CD, "Sound Library Mix, Vol. 2." It comes in a snazzy paste on mini LP sleeve and is mastered by Smokratz himself!

Your resident DJs will be providing the soundtrack for the evening, and will include all your favorite psych, library, soundtracks, ethnic fuzz, and even a little live space echo!
